9. Boat shelter

The boat shelter holds one of the boats used for the Muurola salmon weir. These large boats were not only used for hauling in the fishing nets, but also for building the weir, as they were used for transporting timber, withes and rocks to the weir site. The boat shelter also has pound nets and slow nets.
